1. Mask Feeding:
The machine starts by feeding face masks, either individually or in stacks, onto a conveyor. The masks may be folded or unfolded, depending on packaging requirements.
2. Film Wrapping:
A continuous roll of packaging film (usually made from plastic or laminated materials) is unwound and wrapped around the masks. The film is guided through a forming box, creating a tube shape around the product.
3. Sealing and Cutting:
Heat Sealing: The machine uses heat sealing elements to create a lengthwise seal on the underside of the package.
End Sealing and Cutting: The machine seals the ends of each pack and cuts between them, producing individual pouches.
4. Optional Labeling and Printing:
Some machines include integrated systems for printing batch numbers, expiry dates, or barcodes directly onto the packaging film.
